Some ever so slight movement this week as the actionable news items
in NFL continues to be few and far between. However, some additional
research has caused me to adjust the projections
of a few…
Quarterbacks
Brian Hoyer (+1) – Sounds like Hoyer is the leader over
Mallett heading into Texans’ camp. Both will be waiver wire
material regardless of who wins the job.
Jameis Winston (+1) – After some more dissection, I’ve
pushed Winston’s projected passing yards a bit higher. Still
sits in Tier 4 though in the Rankings.
Running Backs
Adrian Peterson (+1) – Tacked on a few additional rushing
yards, so few it’s hardly worth mentioning.
Ryan Mathews (+3) – Upside calls for a jump into Tier 5
of the Rankings.
Ameer
Abdullah (+2) – Joique Bell says he’s going to rush for 1200
yards. His 3.9 ypc average over the last two seasons says otherwise.
Mike
Wallace (+3) – Still like Charles Johnson to be the top receiver
for the Vikes, but Wallace seems like a better fit in this offense.
Tyler Lockett (+10) – Comments from the coach have hinted
towards Lockett being mostly a special teams player in year one.
He’s got more to offer. I’m anxious to see how the
Seahawks use the rookie in training camp and in pre-season games.
Tight Ends
Kyle Rudolph (+3) – Rudolph’s injury history (only
15 games played the last two seasons) should keep his ADP down
(currently TE No.16).
