Josh Scobee on the outs in Pittsburgh?
Steelers to try out Chris Boswell

The Pittsburgh Steelers are on the lookout for alternatives to struggling kicker Josh Scobee. NFL Media's James Palmer reports the Steelers will try out free agent Chris Boswell, who was with the New York Giants in training camp. Less than two weeks ago, coach Mike Tomlin insisted he had no concerns about Scobee after the kicker missed two field goals in the season opener and an extra point in Week 2. It certainly appears that Tomlin has changed his mind after Scobee missed two more field goals in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter in last night's crushing loss to the Baltimore Ravens. FFToday's Take: After last night, this should come as no surprise. Boswell is a bit of an unknown having yet to kick in an NFL season game, but if he supplants Scobee he could become a reliable fantasy kicker once Ben Roethlisberger returns to the lineup.
