Jets sign Dri Archer to reserve/future deal
New York looking to get faster on offense

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -- The New York Jets have signed speedy running back-kick returner Dri Archer to a reserve/future contract. The versatile Archer, who has also played wide receiver, was a third-round draft pick by Pittsburgh out of Kent State in 2014. He was waived by the Steelers last November. Jets coach Todd Bowles and general manager Mike Maccagnan recently said they want the team to be faster next season, and Archer fills the bill. (AP-Sports)

FFToday's Take: New York's backfield may undergo a makeover this offseason. The team is expected to watch Chris Ivory get his raise from another organization, and Steven Ridley and Bilal Powell are UFAs. Zac Stacy is signed through the 2016 season but isn't part of the team's long term plans. This is one backfield fantasy owners will need to monitor throughout the offseason.
