Case Keenum will start for Rams Foles to be high-priced backup By: Mike Krueger | Mar 21 2016, 10:39 am
G.M. Les Snead, appearing Monday on NFL Network, said that Case Keenum will be the starting quarterback “at the beginning of the season.” It also creates a potentially awkward situation in the quarterback room, where Keenum will make roughly $3 million in 2016 and backup Nick Foles will make more than $12 million. FFToday's Take:Interesting comment from the Rams GM but it's still early in the off-season and much can happen before early September. Foles and perhaps a quarterback drafted in the first round (15th pick) could also be the Week 1 starter. In any case, the starting quarterback for the Rams can be avoided by fantasy owners.
