Cowboys sign Alfred Morris
Two-year deal
By: Mike Krueger | Mar 22 2016, 10:30 am

Former Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris will sign a two-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys, his agent confirmed to ESPN. The deal is for two years, worth up to $5.5 million, including $2 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Morris rocketed into the league with a monstrous rookie season in 2012 (1613 yds, 13 TDs) but his production has slipped every year since. His 763 yards and 1 TD last season ranked him 45th among fantasy running backs as he struggled to fit into Jay Gruden's offense. The Cowboys should provide an upgrade to Morris' fantasy stock and he'll compete with Darren McFadden for snaps.
