| Green Bay signs TE Jared Cook One-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Mar 28 2016, 10:45 am
| The Packers have agreed to terms with eighth-year tight end Jared Cook, who will sign his contract Monday pending a physical, a league source confirmed. Although the Packers offered a two-year deal, the two sides eventually settled on a one-year deal could total $3.65 million with incentives, USA Today reported. (Green Bay Press Gazette)
FFToday's Take: The Rams released Cook this off-season and he reportedly had interest from Atlanta, Chicago and Carolina. He'll play a complimentary role in the offense along with Richard Rodgers. It sounds like the Packers are wanting to feature the tight end more this season down the middle of the field. Even so, Cook's fantasy value will likely be hit or miss given the amount of weapons in the offense. He's on the TE2 radar for redraft leagues.
