DeAndre Hopkins a no-show at training camp
Wants a new deal
By: Mike Krueger | Jul 30 2016, 11:49 am

Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is holding out of training camp as he seeks a new contract, sources told ESPN. Hopkins, who is entering the fourth and final year of his rookie contract, did not report for the start of the Texans' camp, according to sources. He will be subject to fines of $40,000 for each day of camp he misses. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Hopkins actually has two-years left on his deal as the Texans picked up the fifth-year option and as of now, the team isn't negotiating. We'll see how this plays out but if the holdout lasts more than a few days, expect to see Hopkins fantasy value take a slight hit. In all likelihood, he will be on the field come Week 1 and remains a high-end WR1.
