Tony Romo out 6-10 weeks, broken bone in back Injury bug hits Romo again By: Mike Krueger | Aug 27 2016, 3:00 pm
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Tony Romo is expected to miss 6-10 weeks with a broken bone in his back. The team will be announcing the injury; it’s unclear whether the team will put a duration on the absence.
It means that those Cowboys fans who had been clamoring for the Dak Prescott era to begin sooner than later will be getting their wish. For better or worse. (ProFootballTalk)
FFToday's Take:Romo has a history with back problems but it doesn't appear that this recent injury is related. In any case, if Romo is unable to start the season Dak Prescott is expected to get the call. He's played well in the pre-season but doesn't have the experience or chemistry with the receivers. Dez Bryant will slide a little on this news. Romo should not be drafted.
