TE Jordan Reed feeling better, RB Matt Jones isn't
Tight end declares himself 'symptom free'
By: Jake Gordon | Oct 26 2016, 6:33 pm

ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed reached this same point a week ago as a limited participant in practice. But he then missed two more days when his concussion symptoms returned. Reed is confident this time is different. "I'm feeling 100 percent," Reed said. "I feel symptom-free. Running back Matt Jones was a new addition to the list of injured players. The Redskins' starting back felt pain in his knee when he tried to cut. Gruden said he was OK when running straight ahead. If Jones can't play, Gruden said rookie Robert Kelley would be the starter but that third-down back Chris Thompson would remain a key part of the game plan. (ESPN.com)

FFToday's Take: Jordan Reed owners will be given a pretty good indication on his playing status if he is on the plane when the team travels to London. He still needs medical clearance so check back later in the week. The backfield situation, however, isn't so clear with Matt Jones (knee) looking iffy to play against the Bengals. Rob Kelley would get the start and split carries with Chris Thompson if Jones was held out of action. Kelley has a 4.4 YPC on 17 rushing attempts this season but without knowing how the team will deploy the carries all Washington runners are risky fantasy bets for Week 8.
