Veteran quarterback Chase Daniel has agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan on Wednesday. (ESPN) FFToday's Take: Daniel, a career backup, backed up Drew Brees from 2009-2012 but has never had the opportunity to land a starting job. With Luke McCown already on the roster, the two will battle hold the clipboard for Brees in 2017.
