| Ezekiel Elliott gets 6-game ban hammer Elliott has three business days to appeal By: Mike Krueger | Aug 11 2017, 12:05 pm

| Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended for six games by the NFL for violating the personal conduct policy, the league announced Friday. Elliott is expected to appeal the suspension, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Elliott has three business days to file notice of appeal, and a hearing must be scheduled within 10 days of receipt of the notice. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: Elliott will appeal the suspension so there's a chance the penalty could be reduced. In the meantime, Elliott's fantasy value takes a significant hit. If the suspension holds, Elliott wouldn't be back on the field in Week 8. Missing that much time drops him down into RB3 consideration for the season as a whole. Darren McFadden, Rod Smith and Alfred Morris are next up on the depth chart with McFadden getting the biggest boost in playing time.
