Jordan Reed "isn't healthy right now"
Rib cartilage injury and SC joint ligament strain
By: Mike Krueger | Sep 20 2017, 5:00 pm

Redskins tight end Jordan Reed sat out of practice Wednesday because of his rib cartilage injury and a SC joint ligament strain. Reed suffered the injuries during the Redskins' 27-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. "The plan is we’ve got to get him healthy and the concern is he’s not healthy right now," Redskins coach Jay Gruden said. (Washington Times)

FFToday's Take: Add rib and shoulder issues on to Reed's already ailing foot. This doesn't sound promising for Jordan Reed's chances of playing against the Raiders but we'll have to see if he's able to practice later in the week. Vernon Davis is next up on the depth chart and would be a serviceable TE2 should Reed sit.
