Wentz cleared for 11-on-11 work No plan to play in pre-season games By: Mike Krueger | Aug 18 2018, 1:00 pm
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will resume 11-on-11 drills once the team returns to practice on Sunday, according to an ESPN report. As of now there is no plan for Wentz, who is still recovering from a torn ACL he suffered last December, to play in the preseason. The final step towards Wentz playing in Week 1 is to be cleared for contact. (NJ.com)
FFToday's Take:This is the next step as Wentz eyes the season opener on September 6th. He's by no means a lock to begin the season as the Eagles starting quarterback. Even if he does, he'll undoubtedly won't feel 100% comfortable. Wentz is being over-drafted at his current ADP of 7.06 (QB6) in redraft leagues.
