Jerick McKinnon suffers injury during workout

Hearing from multiple sources that #49ers running back Jerick McKinnon was injured during a team workout today. Am working on getting more details. No details from the team yet but source said injury "did not look good." If McKinnon can't play vs. Vikings, Matt Breida, Alfred Morris obviously would have bigger roles. Kyle Shanahan to have cut-down con call at 1:05 p.m. (Matt Barrows on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Uh-oh. The team recently signed Alfred Morris and if McKinnon were to miss any time, the 49ers would likely go with a Breida / Morris combo to begin the season with Breida having more value in PPR leagues. Stay tuned...
