Texans expect Will Fuller to be ready Week 1
Missed nine games in 2018
By: Mike Krueger | Apr 18 2019, 12:15 pm

When the Texans open the regular season against the New Orleans Saints, they expect speedy wide receiver Will Fuller to be on the field running routes. Fuller is rehabbing from a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered last season against the Miami Dolphins. "I expect when we kick off against New Orleans for him to be ready to go," Gaine said. "Everything is going well with Will, no setbacks. Everything trending in right direction. He's looking good." (Houston Chronicle)

FFToday's Take: Fuller dealt with hamstring issues early during the 2018 season then suffered an ACL injury on October 25th. He's made a difference when on the field (11 TDs in 11 games with Deshaun Watson) but missed six games in 2017 and nine games last season due to injury. Ideally, the Texans would like to run out DeAndre Hopkins, Fuller and Keke Coutee as their three wide receiver set.
