Injury Broncos not holding Manning back     -- Fri Jun 1 4:40 pm --

QB working on all his throws, including deep ball
The Denver Broncos aren't holding back when it comes to Peyton Manning. Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy said Thursday he isn't making any special allowances for the four-time MVP who's returning from a nerve injury that caused weakness in his throwing arm, forced him to sit out last season and led to his release from the Indianapolis Colts. McCoy said Manning is working on all of his throws - short, intermediate and deep - in offseason workouts as the Broncos ramp up toward training camp. (ESPN)

FF Today's Take: We caution you to always temper your expectations of what you hear about a player's performances at OTAs. That said, all news from Broncos workouts regarding Manning have been overwhelmingly positive. Drafting the quarterback in fantasy this season will carry an enormous amount of risk based on his slew of recent neck injuries and resulting surgeries. Tight end Jacob Tamme and wide receivers Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker also carry subsequent risk, as their lofty projections are based primarily on Manning being healthy for the course of the season.
