Rookie QB to see increased first-team snaps
Plan is to get Ryan Tannehill snaps with starters vs. starting Carolina defense. My guess is he STARTS. But just a guess. (Armando Salguero on Twitter)

FF Today's Take: Considering supposed front-runner David Garrard is likely out for the remainder of the preseason, this comes as little surprise after a solid exhibition debut against the Bucs (14-of-21 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown). HC Joe Philbin also told the Miami Herald that he thinks the gap between Matt Moore and Tannehill is "relatively close", so the veteran may really need to shine over the next two-plus weeks in order to keep the rookie on the sideline for Week 1.
