Giants are 'excited' about Wilson -- Wed Oct 10 12:03 pm --
RB looks to expand his role this sunday against the 49ers | Reports have indicated that the Giants coaching staff is “excited” about David Wilson. Breakout running back Andre Brown suffered a concussion in the first quarter last Sunday and will likely miss this week’s game. Wilson had two rushes for 44 yards against the Browns including a 40-yard touchdown run. (New York Daily News)
FF Today's Take: While the Giants will most likely use Wilson more, especially with the loss of Andre Brown, Ahmad Bradshaw will still receive the majority of the carries and the Giants play the leagues second best rush defense in the 49ers. Even beyond this Sunday the Giants and Wilson enthusiast have poor matchups against the Redskins, Cowboys, and Steelers (10th, 15th, and 11th against the run).
