Injury Forte re-injures ankle     -- Sun Nov 25 10:20 pm --

Bears suffer another round of injuries in Week 12 win
Charles Tillman and Matt Forte both have ankle injuries. Forte's injury came on a third quarter rushing attempt where he appeared to get his ankle caught under a pile of Vikings defenders. The officials initially ruled Forte had fumbled on the play and scored it a Vikings' touchdown when Minnesota safety Mistral Raymond scooped up the football and ran into the endzone. However, a replay later confirmed that Forte's knee was down before the ball came out. Devin Hester also suffered a concussion. (ESPN)

FF Today's Take: Forte limped badly to the sideline and was eventually taken to the locker room. While Forte made his way off the field under his own power, he was clearly in pain and his right leg was stiff. The right ankle is the same one where he suffered an early-season high-ankle sprain, although the circumstances surrounding this one were much different. Tillman left the game in the first half and had his right foot re-taped and stayed on the sidelines but never re-entered the game.
