Injury Keller avoids high-ankle sprain     -- Mon Dec 3 6:05 pm --

HC confirms initial diagnosis was wrong
The Jets received some good news Monday on the injury front: TE Dustin Keller doesn't have a high-ankle sprain, after all. It's a routine sprain, according to Rex Ryan. On Sunday night, a team source said Keller had suffered the dreaded high-ankle sprain in Sunday's win over the Cards -- an injury that could've sidelined him for the remainder of the season. After further evaluation Monday morning, the diagnosis was changed. (ESPN New York)

FF Today's Take: A rare bit of good news for the Jets. Still, one has to wonder how effective Keller will be next week, considering how serious the injury first appeared. Additionally, who will be his quarterback? Either way, Keller is a TE2 for the fantasy playoffs.
