Sanchez to start for the Jets     -- Wed Dec 5 11:43 am --

Jets QB to start after being benched in Wee 13
Mark Sanchez will start for the Jets on Sunday against the Jaguars. Sanchez was pulled in the second half of the Jets victory last week against the Cardinals. Jets owner Woody Johnson had made it know that he wanted Greg McElroy as the team’s starter, but Rex Ryan, offensive coordinator Tony Sparano, and GM Mike Tannenbaum have made it clear that they want to stick with Sanchez. Sanchez has thrown 13 interceptions, lost five fumbles, and only accounted for 12 touchdowns in 2012. His 71.4 passer rating only tops that of Matt Cassel and John Skelton among qualifying quarterbacks. (Star-Ledger)

FF Today's Take: The Jaguars have allowed the tenth most points to fantasy QBs and are 28th ranked defense against the pass. In all likelihood, Sanchez will still find a way to be unproductive. Jets tight end Dustin Keller is questionable with a high ankle sprain and even the loss of one offensive weapon is a huge blow to the Jets and Sanchez.
