Steven Jackson the latest to be hamstrung
Will be ready for Week 1
By: Mike Krueger | Jul 29 2014, 5:19 pm

Falcons running back Steven Jackson suffered a right hamstring injury and did not participate in practice on Tuesday. “Steven injured his hamstring yesterday,” Smith said. “We kept him out. We don’t think it’s going to be real significant. He will be ready for the first game.” (Atlanta Journal Constitution)

FFToday's Take: The fact that Smith mentioned Jackson would be ready for the first game gives the impression that the Falcons running back is going to miss a significant amount of time this preseason. This is not the same hamstring that Jackson injured in Week 2 last season that caused him to miss four games. It's difficult to gauge the seriousness of this injury but this news is sure to have Jackson's ADP trending downward.
