| Wayne comeback going off without a hitch Returning from late October ACL injury By: Doug Orth | Jul 31 2014, 6:10 pm
| The Reggie Wayne running routes and effortlessly snatching passes out of the air from Andrew Luck at training camp looks incredibly similar to the Reggie Wayne who did the same thing prior to tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee Oct. 20 against Denver.
Colts HC Chuck Pagano has been cautious with Wayne's workload. He's gotten a heavy dose with the Luck-led offense, but there's still a "pitch count" to make certain the knee isn't overly stressed. (Indianapolis Star)
FFToday's Take: One three players in NFL history - Jerry Rice (three times), Jimmy Smith and Joey Galloway - have gone over 1,000 yards receiving after turning 36, so the odds are working against Wayne. With Luck as his quarterback and players like T.Y. Hilton drawing attention from him, however, he is a strong candidate to be No. 4.
