Philadelphia Eagles

Foles on the market?
Rams, Titans, Texans possibly interested
By: Doug Orth | Jan 26 2015, 5:00 pm

The Eagles' apparent indecision on what to do with QB Nick Foles has intrigued teams around the league, and possible suitors are beginning to emerge. According to a person familiar with the situation, but who requested anonymity, the St. Louis Rams have interest in Foles should the Eagles decide to trade him this offseason. Foles' possible availability was a topic of conversation among coaches and scouts last week at the Senior Bowl, with the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans also mentioned as teams that would have interest if Foles hit the market. FFToday's Take: Foles regressed from his breakout 2014 season before his season-ending shoulder injury and isn't the greatest fit for HC Chip Kelly's offense. There are enough mobile quarterbacks available in the draft - Oregon's Marcus Mariota and UCLA's Brett Hundley are among two Kelly would be familiar with - to believe that both Foles and Mark Sanchez may not be the starter in Philadelphia in 2015. With the Rams still willing to ride out Sam Bradford and the Titans warming up to Zach Mettenberger, the Texans could be the most logical destination.
