At first blush, hearing Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt say this at the annual AFC coaches breakfast Tuesday - "If (Marcus Mariota) comes to us at No. 2, he's definitely going to be the Day 1 starter" -- certainly makes us think the Zach Mettenberger era has come and gone. (NFL.com) FFToday's Take: Whisenhunt went on to say they were still in the process of evaluating the Oregon quarterback. It's certainly possible the Titans could take Mariota with second overall pick but this sounds like a head coach attempting to increase the value of his drafting position. The Titans have plenty of needs and are in a good spot to move down if a trade partner can be found.
