Victor Cruz: "I’m about 80 percent there"
Giants wideout has been running routes for two weeks

Victor Cruz is getting close. “I’m about 80 percent there. I think it’s just a matter of continuing to build the strength for the last leg of it,” Cruz told The Post on Wednesday after the Giants’ first OTA practice. “I’ve been running some routes for about two weeks now, and there’s been no pain, no swelling or anything like that, which are all good signs.” (New York Post)

FFToday's Take: Cruz suffered a patellar knee injury last October which is difficult to recover from. Fantasy owners shouldn't count on Cruz making a significant contribution until mid-season. Training camp and his will give us a better idea of how close he is to contributing on the field.
