Moeaki, Tamme competition expected at camp
Falcons looking for answers at tight end
By: Mike Krueger | Jun 26 2015, 9:00 am

The Falcons sought to upgrade the tight end position this offseason by signing Jacob Tamme and Tony Moeaki in free agency. Tamme received a two-year, $4 million contract with $400,000 guaranteed, while Moeaki, who’s been often injured, received a modest one-year, $744,000 deal. The two are expected to compete for the role of top pass-catching tight end when training camp opens on July 31. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)

FFToday's Take: Levine Toilolo finished 37th among fantasy tight ends last season with a 31-238-2 stat line. The Falcons will role the dice with a consistently injured Moeaki and the veteran Tamme who last had fantasy relevance back in 2012 with Denver. Moeaki is the better athlete with the biggest fantasy upside of the three but his injury history and the WR-focused gameplan in Atlanta makes him undraftable even if he does win the starting job in camp.
