Also ruled out of Sunday’s game is tight end Jordan Reed, who had already missed four games with a hamstring injury. He’s now sidelined by a strain in his other hamstring.(Washington Post)
FF Today's Take:Reed has immense talent but can't stay on the field. Reed has now missed time this season because of injuries to both his hamstrings. Niles Paul will fill-in and is a worth a look for TE-desperate owners and salary relief in daily games.

Washington TE not 100 percent heading into Week 12
Tight end Jordan Reed strained his right hamstring -- he dealt with a strained left hamstring earlier this season. Linebacker Trent Murphy has a partial tear of the posterior cruciate ligament, but Gruden said, "It's something he can play with if he can deal with a little bit of soreness."(ESPN)
FF Today's Take:Reed just can't stay healthy. Expect TE Niles Paul to see more snaps until Reed can get back to 100 percent.
Jordan Reed a gametime decision-- Fri Oct 10 1:20 pm --
HC: "still not quite there yet"
Tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring) is listed as questionable. He practiced in a limited capacity.
Gruden said Reed is “still not quite there yet,” but that he expected that the second-year pro would be a game-time decision. Reed has maintained that if everything proceeded without a hitch this week, he expects to play.
FF Today's Take:Reed isn't a lock to play as of Friday so check the Inactive list on Sunday before putting the Redskins tight end in your lineup. Niles Paul would start if Reed sits.
Niles Paul expected to play Monday night-- Fri Oct 3 3:50 pm --
Full practice on Friday
Tight end Niles Paul passed the final stage of testing in accordance with the NFL’s concussion protocol and practiced fully on Friday.
The fourth-year veteran sustained a concussion in last Thursday’s game against the New York Giants and had been limited in practice all of this week.
Paul is now expected to play in Monday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
FF Today's Take:Jordan Reed was limited Friday with a hamstring strain. His availability for Monday remains uncertain. Paul appears to be the tight end to own in Washington this week assuming he has no setbacks.
Jordan Reed expected to miss Week 4-- Tue Sep 23 4:30 pm --
According to John Keim of ESPN.com and multiple other reporters who cover the team, tight end Jordan Reed indicated Tuesday he’s doubtful to play Thursday night vs. the Giants because of a lingering hamstring injury.(ProFootballTalk)
FF Today's Take:Reed missed practice Tuesday ahead of the Redskins Thursday night game against the Giants. This means Niles Paul owners get another week of TE1 from their waiver wire claim.
