Colts' Luck on track to play-- Wed Nov 30 6:15 pm --
It appears Andrew Luck is on track to return to action Monday night against the Jets.
Colts coach Chuck Pagano told reporters the quarterback remains in the concussion protocol, but Luck told reporters after practice Wednesday that he participated in the session with no restrictions.
FF Today's Take:This is great news for an Indianapolis offense that struggled to get much going with Scott Tolzien under center last week. Barring a setback, Andrew Luck will be a big boost for the fantasy values of T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief.
Andrew Luck likely to miss Week 12-- Mon Nov 21 12:00 am --
Placed in concussion protocol
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is in the NFL's concussion protocol, coach Chuck Pagano announced Monday. Colts Insider Zak Keefer said it usually takes players five to six days to get through protocol, which would obviously put Luck in danger of missing the Colts' Thanksgiving game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. But "no two concussions are the same," Keefer added. "There's no timetable or 'normal' recovery."(Indianapolis Star)
FF Today's Take:This is a big one for fantasy owners, as likely replacement Scott Tolzien is a huge step down from Luck and lowers the ceiling of players like T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. Owners should expect to be without Luck this week, which would make the Steelers' defense a bit of an interesting streaming option this week.
Andrew Luck rests shoulder, expects to play-- Wed Sep 21 4:53 pm --
Should return to practice Thursday
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Three days after taking 16 hits, Andrew Luck missed Wednesday's practice with a sore throwing shoulder.
Luck said it was just sore, downplaying the obvious concern his absence will raise among fans. He said he hopes to return to practice Thursday and plans to play Sunday as the Colts try to avoid their first 0-3 start in five years, when San Diego comes to town.
FF Today's Take:Andrew Luck isn't the first quarterback that needed an extra day of rest after playing the Denver defense. This doesn't appear to be anything other than soreness right now but it is worth monitoring as the season progresses. Scott Tolzien would get the start if Luck can't play against the Chargers.
