FF Today's Take:Harris carried 18 times after Thomas Rawls left last week's game with an ankle injury, but is no looking for work. Bryce Brown and Fred Jackson are now in line to receive the bulk of the running back duties in Week 15. Brown should get the majority of opportunities on early downs with Jackson getting a series or two of his own and third-down work.
Seahawks sign RB Bryce Brown, again-- Mon Dec 14 11:41 am --
FF Today's Take:Thomas Rawls injured his ankle in the first quarter of Sunday's game against Baltimore and is expected to miss the remainder of the season. Brown was signed and released by the Seahawks earlier this season but does have a better opportunity to make an impact this go-around with DuJuan Harris and Fred Jackson ahead of him on the depth chart. Brown is worth a flier if you have the roster space.
Rawls to miss remainder of the season, ankle-- Sun Dec 13 4:00 pm --
Broken ankle, torn ligaments
Seahawks rookie running back Thomas Rawls is out for the season after suffering a broken left ankle and torn ligaments during the first quarter of Sunday’s 35-6 victory over the Ravens. Coach Pete Carroll said Rawls might not need surgery but added that, “He’s not going to make it back (this season).’’(Seattle Times)
FF Today's Take:Devasting blow to the Seahakws and the Rawls fantasy owners as the rookie posted 44 yards on just six carries before being injured. DuJuan Harris received the majority of touches (18) in a relief role while Fred Jackson (8) played on third-downs and as a change of pace.
