Lacking an established big play threat at wide receiver, the Rams used a 4th round pick in this yearís draft to acquire Givens. He has blazing speed but had maturity issues at Wake Forest and will need to polish his route running in the pros. Look for Givens to battle with second-year player Danario Alexander to be the teamís big play threat in 2012. He isnít worth owning in redraft formats and is a lower tier option in dynasty formats.

Season-ending Achilles injury cripples Baltimore receiving corps
The loss of veteran receiver Steve Smith to a season-ending Achilles tear is a tough one for the Ravens, because of what he meant to them emotionally. But pragmatically, it was even tougher, as he was their last effective receiver left. (ProFootballTalk)
FF Today's Take:Kamar Aiken, Chris Givens and Jeremy Ross are the top three receivers in Baltimore right now. Rookie Breshad Perriman is battling a knee injury and isn't close to returning. Don't be surprised if the Ravens add a free agent receiver this week.
Steve Smith ruled out for Week 5-- Thu Oct 8 6:00 pm --
Sustained four small fractures in his back in win vs. Steelers
FF Today's Take:As expected. Kamar Aiken will serve as the de facto top receiver for the Ravens and probably line up opposite Marlon Brown. The Ravens also figure to get ex-Ram Chris Givens, who they acquired last weekend, a healthy amount of snaps. Aiken is shaping up to be a low-end WR3 this week while Givens may ultimately serve in the role the team expected the injured Breshad Perriman to play.
