Mike Gillislee to remain goal-line back -- Thu Dec 8 8:35 pm --
Backup RB already has six scores in 2016
Bills OC Anthony Lynn says Mike Gillislee will continue to get red zone carries. "That's his role," Lynn says, praising Gillislee's decisive running. Gillislee had two touchdowns in Sunday's loss to Oakland, getting goal line carries over LeSean McCoy and Jonathan Williams. (ESPN)
FF Today's Take: The news is a bummer for McCoy's fantasy value but not exactly something that has kept him from being a RB1 all season in one of the run-heaviest offenses in the league. As long as Shady is getting his usual 20-plus touches every week, his RB1 status should be secure.
McCoy doubtful, Gillislee expected to start -- Fri Oct 28 12:30 pm --
|Bills running back LeSean McCoy didn't practice all week after aggravating his hamstring injury in last Sunday's loss at Miami and is officially listed as doubtful to play this week against the Patriots.
"Obviously he never practiced," Rex Ryan said, "so I think you guys can figure that out." (Buffalo News)|
FF Today's Take: Mike Gillislee is expected to get the start and is on the RB2 radar in Week 8 against the Patriots. Reggie Bush and rookie Jonathan Williams will fill backup roles. The Patriots have given up 2 rushing TDs to running backs this season.

FF Today's Take: Rex Ryan went on to say that he's "not real sure" about McCoy playing in Week 8 against the Patriots. Given McCoy was a shell of himself last week, expect Mike Gillislee to get the start.
LeSean McCoy "probably questionable" -- Mon Oct 24 6:05 pm --
Aggravated hamstring injury

FF Today's Take: It was apparently obvious to just about everyone except the Bills that resting McCoy after a mid-week hamstring pull was the right move. As a result of pushing Shady to play in Week 7, Buffalo will probably now play the week-to-week game with him instead. Owners should expect McCoy to miss multiple weeks and be thrilled if only misses one or two. Mike Gillislee will start and should be considered a serviceable RB2 in his absence.
McCoy expected to be active, could be limited -- Sun Oct 23 3:05 am --
25-35 play pitch count
Bills' RB LeSean McCoy, listed as questionable with hamstring, is expected to play today but could be on 25-35 play pitch count, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FF Today's Take: Reports early this week stated McCoy would miss Week 7 but that appears to be in question as McCoy was able to make it through a limited practice Friday. If McCoy suits up it will take some of the shine off Mike Gillislee.
LeSean McCoy practices Friday, questionable -- Fri Oct 21 11:45 am --
Ryan: "We're not ruling Shady out at all"
LeSean McCoy was front and center in the stretching line at Bills practice Friday and went through some basic pass-catching drills during the portion of practice that was open to media. Receiver Robert Woods and defensive tackle Marcell Dareus were not at the start of Friday's practice. (Buffalo News)
FF Today's Take: Rex Ryan went on to say: "We're not ruling Shady out at all. We'll be smart with him, but he looked pretty good [today]." It sounds like McCoy will be a gametime decision. If he sits, Mike Gillislee would get the start and be a solid RB2 against the Dolphins defense.
