QB Mike Glennon headed to Chicago-- Thu Mar 9 11:55 am --
$19 million guaranteed
The Chicago Bears are expected to sign Mike Glennon to a three-year deal, but that shouldn't stop them drafting a quarterback.
Terms: Three-years, $45 million with $19 million guaranteed, per ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter(ESPN)
FF Today's Take:Glennon is the frontrunner to be the Bears starting quarterback Week 1 although it remains to be seen what QB Chicago may target in the upcoming NFL Draft. Glennon has been stuck behind Jameis Winston accumulating just 11 pass attempts over the last two years. He'll be a backend QB2 in redraft leagues.
Bears to make a push for QB Mike Glennon?-- Tue Mar 7 7:44 am --
FF Today's Take:After spending the last three years as a backup Glennon will likely jump at any team willing to give him a realistic chance at being a starter. If the Bears are willing to fork up the amount of money being discussed ($14-$15 million), they'll have themselves a replacement for Jay Cutler.
