Stefon Diggs misses practice Friday-- Fri Oct 7 1:15 pm --
Receiver Stefon Diggs has also been held out all week due to a lingering groin injury. With the bye week coming up, the Vikings may decide to shut him down for two weeks to heal.
Should Diggs be held out, receiver Jarius Wright could be involved once again as the teamís former primary slot receiver from 2013-2015. Wright has been a healthy scratch three of four weeks this season.(Minneapolis Star Tribune)
FF Today's Take:Diggs' owners need to have plan B in place as he's a candidate for the inactive list in Week 5. Charles Johnson and Adam Thielen could be the top wideouts but neither would be recommended fantasy starters. TE Kyle Rudolph makes for a solid TE1 play.
Vikes WR Laquon Treadwell being "phased in"-- Tue Aug 9 9:19 am --
Hard work paying off for first-rounder, expect big preseason reps
ESPN reports that Laquon Treadwell, the Vikings' first-round draft pick, was the first player to report to training camp in Mankato this summer, arriving well ahead of most of his new teammates.(ESPN Twin Cities)
FF Today's Take:He's also been one of the last - if not the last - player off the field after practice every day, sending a message to coaches that he wants to play. Charles Johnson serves as the primary wideout across from Stefon Diggs on the first-team offense. But Treadwell has been given some looks with the first team and will likely get a lot of run during the preseason games. Keep an eye on him.
