| Denard Robinson to start, Chris Ivory inactive -- Sun Jan 1 11:40 am --|
Robinson in play as RB2
|Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory is inactive and will miss the final game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Jaguars listed Ivory as questionable on Friday because of a hamstring injury and interim coach Doug Marrone said Ivory would be a game-time decision. With Ivory out and T.J. Yeldon on injured reserve, the Jaguars will start Denard Robinson. (ESPN)|
FF Today's Take: With Ivory and T.J. Yeldon out, Robinson becomes an RB2 consideration against a Colts weak run defense.
| Jags rule out Julius, Hurns, Denard Robinson -- Fri Dec 9 11:45 am --|
Ivory questionable with hamstring injury
|Jaguars rule out TE Julius Thomas, WR Allen Hurns, DE Jared Odrick, RB Denard Robinson, CB Peyton Thompson for Sunday's game against Minnesota. (ESPN)|
FF Today's Take: T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory (hamstring) will handle the rushing load for the Jags against the Vikings this week. Ivory is a gametime decision so it's possible Yeldon could see a heavy workload, making him a Flex play in difficult matchup.
| Chris Ivory, Hurns out, Julius Thomas doubtful -- Fri Dec 2 1:00 pm --|
Jaguars down multiple offensive pieces
|The team ruled out several key players for Sunday’s game against visiting Denver: receiver Allen Hurns, running back Chris Ivory, defensive end Jared Odrick and receiver Rashad Greene.
Tight end Julius Thomas (back) is considered doubtful. (Florida Times Union)|
FF Today's Take: Hurns and Ivory are both dealing with hamstring injuries. Expect T.J. Yeldon (ankle) to play but he's likely to share reps with Denard Robinson. With Hurns and Thomas out, Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee should see the bulk of targets against the Broncos. Neither are recommended fantasy plays given the competition.
| Julius Thomas out, Yeldon questionable -- Fri Nov 25 11:45 am --|
Jaguars down two at tight end
|The Jaguars already knew they’d be without tight end Marcedes Lewis for Sunday’s game at Buffalo.
Now, they’re without Julius Thomas as well.
The Jaguars (2-8) announced the two-time Pro-Bowl tight end will miss Sunday’s game with the Bills (5-5) because of a back injury. (Florida Times Union)|
FF Today's Take: With Thomas and Lewis out, the Jaguars are down to Ben Koyack at the tight end position. He won't be a recommended fantasy option against the Bills. Yeldon is battling a sprained ankle and missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. If Yeldon, sits Denard Robinson would see increased playing time but Chris Ivory would remain the lead back.
