Graham suffers patellar injury, out for the season-- Sun Nov 29 9:00 pm --
Seahawks lose starting TE
After the game, head coach Pete Carroll said the injury to Jimmy Graham’s patellar tendon will require surgery. Carroll gave no return timetable for the star tight end. Luke Willson will now step into the starting role and called the new of Graham’s injury “tough.”(Seattle Times)
FF Today's Take:Patellar tendon injuries are serious and difficult for players to overcome and return to peak effectiveness. Victor Cruz suffered a similar injury last season. The loss of Graham may bump up the value of receiver Doug Baldwin more than any other player. Willson will be a TE2 in Graham's absence.
