Rueben Randle poised for big year?     -- Thu Jun 11 4:30 pm --

Eli believes WR can be a "dominant" player
A year ago, before (Rueben Randle) finished with a flourish, he was benched for the first quarter of two games. It was a personal issue, Randle said. It just caused me to be late here a couple of times. Its over with now. Im past it. At one time in the season people thought me and Coach [Coughlin] had a beef going on, which is not the case. I think Ruebenll have a big year, Eli Manning said. I think Rueben can be a great receiver, a dominant receiver. I think he has it in him. Youve definitely seen him from Day 1 to Day Now, just the maturity level is definitely improved, hes all in, hes been here working, hes been here off days, and so I've been impressed with his commitment. (New York Post)

FF Today's Take: This has the makings of a preseason fluff piece, but it would be a mistake to discount a player that went for 6-132-1 and 6-158 over the final two games of last season. With Odell Beckham Jr. likely to command double teams this year and Victor Cruz no sure thing to be what he once was, Randle could be ready to fulfill the promise that many owners believed he was going to deliver on a year or two ago.
Injury OBJ sidelined until training camp?     -- Mon Jun 8 6:10 pm --

Hamstrings continue to be an issue for second-year WR
My sense is that Odell Beckham Jr. may not be back on practice field until training camp. Not worth pushing his tight (right) hamstring in June. (Kim Jones on Twitter)

FF Today's Take: Last year, OBJ missed the entire offseason and first four games with a torn left hamstring. This year, his right hamstring is giving him trouble. "I think he's just trying to be smart and doesn't want to push this thing any further than he has to," Eli Manning told reporters. "After what we went through last year, we don't want him missing training camp or any games next season." Consider Beckham's inactivity precautionary for now, but stay tuned.
