2015 Outlook
Depth Chart
Johnsonís hamstring injury in Week 4 torpedoed the hopes of many fantasy owners as one of fantasyís top rated wide receivers went on to finish the year with the lowest level of production of his career. By seasonís end, Johnson had appeared in just seven games, amassing 33 receptions for 492 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 11.2 fantasy points per game, the third worst performance of his nine-year career. Johnson will be 31 years old when the season starts and with 12 missed games over the past two seasons, there are legitimate concerns as to whether he can remain healthy for an entire year. Adding to those concerns is the arthroscopic surgery on his knee that he underwent in May. While his health is up for debate, Johnsonís talent remains top-notch and he will eat up plenty of targets in Houstonís passing attacked with no clear-cut starter opposite him and Owen Daniels seemingly in decline. Offsetting those positives is the fact the Texans are clearly a run first team. AJ is worthy of being drafted as a mid to lower tier WR1 in 2012 but the risk of grabbing him has never been higher.

Injury Colts' 1st round pick remains out with knee injury     -- Fri Aug 28 6:05 pm --

Rookie WR Dorsett likely to miss tilt with Rams
Rookie WR Phillip Dorsett (knee contusion) has not practiced all week. Dorsett has worked on the sidelines with trainers doing rehab. He is not expected to be available for the St. Louis Rams game on Saturday night. He could be a game-time decision. (Global Post)

FF Today's Take: Over the years, there have not been many occasions where teams have three fantasy-relevant wide receivers. However, Andrew Luck just might complete enough passes this season to make one of Phillip Dorsett or Donte Montcrief worth owning, in addition to T.Y. Hilton and Andre Johnson. For now, Montcrief with his health and experience has a leg up, but that could change over the course of the season.
Andre Johnson excited to play with Andrew Luck     -- Fri Aug 14 3:20 pm --

WR calls new QB ďarguably the bestĒ in the game
Andre Johnson is starting over. After thriving for 12 seasons in Houston, he's working with a new quarterback and learning a new playbook. On Sunday at Philadelphia, Johnson's transformation will be complete when he dons a Colts jersey for his first game. "I don't really bring much attention to that," he said. "I just try to treat it as football ó with a different team." Despite helping Houston go from fledgling franchise to division champ in less than a decade, Johnson never reached a conference championship game and never played with a true franchise quarterback. In Indy, things are very different. "I wanted to be at a place that had a stable quarterback," Johnson said after signing his three-year, $21 million deal in March. "I feel like Andrew (Luck) is arguably the best quarterback in the game." (Bellingham Herald)

FF Today's Take: Johnson, though certainly past his prime at 34, will be playing with the best quarterback of his career in Andrew Luck. The Colts like to throw the ball a lot, so if Johnsonís health holds up he has WR2 upside. Expect him to double and perhaps even triple his three touchdown total from last season.
