2016 Outlook
Depth Chart
What a difference a year makes. After posting a career year in 2010 with 58 receptions for 700 yards and 10 touchdowns, Lewis’ production plummeted as he suffered through playing with a rookie quarterback in an offense that failed to move the ball on a consistent basis. Despite having his targets reduced by just three (from 88 to 85), Lewis caught just 39 passes for 460 yards and failed to find the end zone. It’s worth noting that removing his 10-touchdown explosion in 2010, Lewis has caught seven touchdowns during his other five seasons in the league, which includes 77 games and 74 starts. He has topped 500 receiving yards twice. He has topped 50 receptions once. Enough beating around the bush – don’t expect a bounce back season in 2012. Lewis is a lower tier TE2 with little upside.

Injury Julius Thomas out, Yeldon questionable     -- Fri Nov 25 11:45 am --

Jaguars down two at tight end
The Jaguars already knew they’d be without tight end Marcedes Lewis for Sunday’s game at Buffalo. Now, they’re without Julius Thomas as well. The Jaguars (2-8) announced the two-time Pro-Bowl tight end will miss Sunday’s game with the Bills (5-5) because of a back injury. (Florida Times Union)

FF Today's Take: With Thomas and Lewis out, the Jaguars are down to Ben Koyack at the tight end position. He won't be a recommended fantasy option against the Bills. Yeldon is battling a sprained ankle and missed practice Wednesday and Thursday. If Yeldon, sits Denard Robinson would see increased playing time but Chris Ivory would remain the lead back.
Injury Julius Thomas inactive     -- Sun Oct 2 8:00 am --

Elbow injury
Jaguars TE Julius Thomas is out today vs Colts due to elbow injury, per source. Marcedes Lewis expected to start. (ESPN)

FF Today's Take: Thomas made the trip to London but unfortunately won't be available in Week 3. Lewis is a TE2. Better options for Thomas owners include Hunter Henry, Zach Miller, Jacob Tamme and Jack Doyle.
Injury Julius Thomas a gametime decision     -- Fri Sep 30 11:30 am --

Elbow injury
Limited practice today and questionable for Sunday: Tight end Julius Thomas (elbow) and linebacker Dan Skuta (hip). “Those guys will be game-time decisions,” coach Gus Bradley said. If Thomas is inactive, the Jaguars would have only two healthy tight ends: Marcedes Lewis and Neal Sterling (Florida Times Union)

FF Today's Take: Thomas did make the trip to London so it's likely he is true gametime decision. He'll be a low-end TE1 option against the Colts defense if he's able to suit up.
