Wants to be a No.1 or No.2 receiver
Former Falcons receiver Harry Douglas has agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the Titans, according to sources familiar with the situation.(The Tennessean)
FF Today's Take:Douglas said he wanted the opportunity to be a No.1 or No.2 receiver. He'll fight for targets with Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter and likely fill the slot role on a team that hasn't placed a top 30 fantasy wide receiver since 2011.
Falcons release Harry Douglas-- Fri Feb 27 10:14 am --
Falcons $3.5 million of cap space
The Falcons are no longer wild about Harry Douglas.
PFT has learned, via a league source, that the team has released the veteran wide receiver. Douglas was set to make $3.5 million in the final year of the four-year contract he signed with the Falcons in 2012. None of that money was guaranteed, so the Falcons will be able to put it toward other uses this offseason.(ProFootballTalk)
FF Today's Take:Douglas has filled the No.3 wide receiver role in Atlanta for several years and had his best season in 2013 (85-1067-2) while filling in for an injured Julio Jones and Roddy White. Since he was released, Douglas is free to sign with a team before the start of free agency on March 10th.
