News From The Past 90 Days
Injury Julio, Sanu miss practice Wednesday     -- Wed Dec 7 1:30 pm --

Jones has MRI on toe
Falcons coach Dan Quinn says WR Julio Jones, LT Jake Matthew, WR Mohamed Sanu, DE Dwight Freeney will not practice today. Jones had a MRI on his turf toe. Has a chance to play vs. Rams (Atlanta Journal Constitution)

FF Today's Take: With the Falcons playing the lowly Rams, it's possible the Falcons may rest Julio this week but we should know more on his status after Thursday's practice. If Sanu misses, Taylor Gabriel and the Falcons running backs would likely play a large role in Week 14.
Injury Coleman, Tamme ruled out for Falcons     -- Wed Nov 2 1:15 pm --

Devonta Freeman locked in as RB1
Falcons running back Tevin Coleman, defensive end Dwight Freeney and tight end Jacob Tamme were all declared out for Thursday night’s game against Tampa Bay by the team on Wednesday. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)

FF Today's Take: Coleman will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury leaving Devonta Freeman and Terron Ward to handle running back duties. Freeman should handle 70 percent of the RB workload Thursday against the Bucs. Rookie Austin Hooper will start at TE.
