2014 Outlook
Depth Chart
Back-to-back 1,400-plus yard campaigns have fantasy owners' mouths salivating heading into the 2014 season with fourth-year wideout Demaryius Thomas. Thomas, who showed flashes of brilliance even with the likes of Tim Tebow and Kyle Orton behind center, has become the top target in the best passing attack in the history of the league. Needless to say, his fantasy value is immense. In addition to his incredible yardage totals, Thomas has produced in the other important categories for receivers with 94 and 92 receptions in 2012 and 2013, while adding 10 and 14 touchdown receptions, respecively. Thomas is the ideal combination of size and speed and the crazy thing is that the best may be yet to come from this incredible physical specimen. If it weren’t for Calvin Johnson, Thomas would be the unquestioned top fantasy wideout at the beginning of the 2014 season. In fact, many fantasy experts are flat out recommending Thomas as the No. 1 receiver on their lists. Either way, Thomas is a rare breed of a receiver who should and does crack the first round of most fantasy drafts. Another monster season is on the way for this talented young wideout. Make sure you don't miss out.

Injury Trio of Broncos return to practice
D. Thomas, Anderson and Welker all battling ankle injuries
By: Doug Orth | Thu Dec 11, 3:00 pm

Denver Broncos
For Broncos, Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker and C.J. Anderson back in practice, working with offense. (Jeff Legwold on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Thomas' lack of involvement last week was curious and Anderson made the comment after the Broncos' win over the Bills that his ankle was bothering him, perhaps suggesting that Thomas' ankle was in worse shape than Anderson's. Ronnie Hillman also returned to practice on Thursday, although his Week 15 availability will probably limited at best. Anderson's owners should be able to breathe easy for this week at least, although it entirely possible that he has done enough in the coaches' minds to remain the featured back.

Injury Several notable Denver players miss practice
Julius Thomas limited
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Dec 10, 5:20 pm

Denver Broncos
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Head Coach John Fox had to take a deep breath after his 47-second recitation of an injury report that included 16 names, eight of whom did not practice Wednesday, with six others working on a limited basis. Headlining the eight players who did not practice were running back C.J. Anderson and wide receivers Wes Welker -- who missed last Wednesday's work -- and Demaryius Thomas, who played Sunday after suffering an ankle bruise when he was stepped on during practice Dec. 3. Joining Anderson, Welker and Thomas in missing practice were running back Montee Ball (groin), and tight end Jacob Tamme (ribs). Limited participants: running backs Ronnie Hillman (foot) and Juwan Thompson (knee), and tight end Julius Thomas (ankle). Thomas said this has been "a much better week for me" than recent weeks, in which he also worked on a limited basis but did not play in the game. (DenverBroncos.com)

FFToday's Take: Fantasy owners of Denver's players will need to pay attention to the practice reports over the next couple of days. Some players, like Demaryius Thomas, would have suited up if needed but needed an extra day of rest. As the week progress, the injury picture in Denver should start to take form. Additionally, the running game could become muddled very quickly depending on who is healthy enough to play this weekend.

Injury Broncos battered in win over Buffalo
Three key starters limited in Week 14
By: Doug Orth | Mon Dec 8, 3:30 pm

Denver Broncos
Demaryius Thomas, who suffered an ankle injury in practice this past Wednesday when he was stepped on by a teammate, finished the win with two catches for 11 yards. Julius Thomas, who has not played since injuring his left ankle in the first quarter of the team's Nov. 16 loss to the St. Louis Rams, was in uniform for the game but did not play. C.J. Anderson injured his left ankle in the win and briefly left the lineup. He played with the ankle heavily taped over his shoe in the second half and had 10 of his 21 carries after halftime. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Injuries were not just limited to the skill-position players as G Orlando Franklin, G Louis Vasquez, reserve OT Paul Cornick, DE Derek Wolfe and TE Jacob Tamme were all hurt in some way against Buffalo. The rash of injuries may help to explain the Broncos' conservative game plan. In regards to the relevant fantasy players, all three players (Thomas, Thomas and Anderson) appear to be good to go at San Diego in Week 15.

Injury Demaryius Thomas dealing with sore ankle
Denver's top wideout limited in practice Wednesday
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Dec 3, 5:30 pm

Denver Broncos
Demaryius Thomas walked gingerly through the locker room after his right ankle was stepped on during the workout. "It hurt, too," Demaryius Thomas said. There's no concern yet over Demaryius Thomas' injury, but it bears watching given how much he was favoring it. (Denver Post)

FFToday's Take: For now it seems the team is downplaying the injury, but Demaryius Thomas' ankle injury bears monitoring. With critical week 14 lineup decisions upcoming fantasy owners will surely want to follow his progress as the week progresses.
