LeSean McCoy probable, Taylor questionable
Workload for McCoy unclear

LeSean McCoy: "I just want to go out there and see what I can do. ... I look forward to playing." Says they'll talk tomorrow about workload. (Mike Rodak on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: McCoy was able to practice on a limited basis this week. With the team missing Karlos Williams (concussion) and Anthony Dixon being a less than desirable option, McCoy is going to give it a go. It's going to be hard for fantasy owners to trust him as a RB2 and his risk for re-injury is high. Tyrod Taylor will likely be inactive this week. Expect EJ Manuel to start at quarterback.
Karlos Williams and LeSean McCoy both out
Anthony "Boobie" Dixon likely to see the bulk of the rushing work

The Buffalo Bills' backfield remains haggard as we approach the weekend. Both LeSean McCoy (hamstring) and Karlos Williams (concussion) missed practice again Friday, per Chris Brown of the team's official website. Both McCoy and Williams are officially out for Sunday's clash with the Titans. Williams remains in concussion protocol. With the injuries mounting, Boobie Dixon likely will get the start, with newly signed Dan "Boom" Herron a candidate to see a heavy workload out of the Bills' backfield. (NFL.com)
FFToday's Take: Anthony Dixon's a bruising back who was serviceable but unspectacular for the Bills' last season. Don't expect much from the 28-year-old this week, even in a favorable matchup with the Titans.

Anthony Dixon likely to start
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Oct 8, 12:15 pm
All signs continue to point to Boobie Dixon being the Buffalo Bills' starting running back Sunday in Tennessee. Granted, Cierre Wood or Dan "Boom" Herron could also be mixed in. But rookie Karlos Williams (concussion) and LeSean McCoy (hamstring) were not at Thursday's practice. (The Buffalo News)
FFToday's Take: If Williams can't get cleared by this weekend, Anthony Dixon would get the start with Cierre Wood filling a backup role. Dixon is more of a RB/FB hybrid and lacks big play ability but can be in the RB2 discussion this week against the Titans based on volume.

Williams in cocussion protocol

Rex Ryan says Boobie Dixon is the No. 1 RB if McCoy/Williams cannot play but adds "hopefully we'll have one of those guys (vs Titans)." (Tyler Dunne on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Karlos Williams along with Sammy Watkins (calf) and LeSean McCoy (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. There's still hope that Williams will be cleared before Sunday but if he isn't, Anthony Dixon would get the start and be on the RB2 radar against the Titans.
Bills release RB Fred Jackson
Nine-year career in Buffalo comes to an end
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Aug 31, 9:00 am
The Buffalo Bills released Fred Jackson on Monday, ending the veteran running back's nine-year career with the team. "Today, we had to make the difficult decision to release Fred Jackson," Bills general manager Doug Whaley said in a statement. "He had an incredible career for this organization for the past 10 years. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: The 34-year-old running back missed a couple weeks of camp with hamstring injury but played well in Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers. The Bills still have plenty of running back depth including LeSean McCoy (hamstring) Bryce Brown (hamstring), Anthony Dixon (calf) and rookie Karlos Williams. A few teams are in need of running back help including Dallas and Tennessee.
