Lions WR coming off second torn ACL
When Ryan Broyles tore the ACL in his right knee last December, he knew exactly what kind of painstaking recovery he was in for because he’d already suffered the same injury in his left knee. Just six months and one week after surgery, Ryan Broyles returned for Lions minicamp this week and participated fully all three days. Although he’ll use the six-week break to continue rehab and strengthen small muscles in his right knee, Broyles expects to be ready for the 2013 season. (Detroit News)

FF Today's Take: Broyles only did some individual drills during OTAs, but six months and one week after the most recent surgery, he was a full participant in minicamp. In 2013, he's expected to work out of the slot and back up Nate Burleson, who is coming off his own ACL tear. If Broyles can prove his health in the preseason, he's worthy of a late-round pick in what promises to be a high-powered passing offense.
