|The future looked rosy for Graham after the Bills used a third-round pick to acquire him during the 2012 draft. However, after a marginally productive rookie campaign during which he caught 31 passes for 322 yards and one touchdown, Graham faces a crowded depth chart with the addition of a pair of draft picks in Robert Woods (2nd rnd) and Marquise Goodwin (3rd rnd), as well as undrafted rookie free agent Da'Rick Rogers. Monitor Graham during the preseason and consider him worth a late-round flier, in hopes that he earns a spot in the starting lineup.
| Stevie Johnson out, groin injury -- Fri Nov 15 1:00 pm --|
Bills will be without top receiver
|Buffalo Bills wide receiver Steve Johnson will not play Sunday against the New York Jets. Johnson, whose right groin was injured during a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday, has been hampered by several injuries this season. This is the second game he will miss. (ESPN)|
FF Today's Take: With Johnson and Robert Woods (ankle) both out, the Bills will lineup Marquise Goodwin and T.J. Graham at receiver. The Bills passing game is a situation to avoid in Week 11.
| Bills unsure about Steve Johnson -- Thu Oct 10 5:50 pm --|
Back injury could end 53-game streak
|Buffalo Bills WR Steve Johnson missed practice Thursday as he is still back in his home state of California after a death in the family.
Coach Doug Marrone said it's going to be a "tough call" as to whether Johnson will be available to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Complicating matters for Johnson and the Bills is a lower-back injury suffered in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns. He is not expected to return to the team in time for Friday's practice because of the distance he has to travel. (Buffalo News)|
FF Today's Take: Since becoming a starter in 2010, Johnson has played in 53 straight games. However, it might not be the worst idea to give him a week off considering his likely physical and mental well-being. Furthermore, the Bills will be starting practice-squad QB Thaddeus Lewis, so Buffalo figures to lean on the ground game as much as it has all season. T.J. Graham would likely draw the start if Johnson sits.
