2017 Outlook
Depth Chart
Marqise Lee finally proved himself to be fantasy worthy in 2016 when the Jags were forced to give him an opportunity due to Allen Hurns' hamstring woes. Over 100 targets and 13.5 yards per catch later and he will still enter camp having to win a starting gig. Lee has enough upside to be a weekly flex option in twelve team leagues but his floor extends to being a waiver wire hermit. Lee's role in the return game should diminish with rookies Dede Westbrook and Jalen Myrick possessing the speed and quickness to get the hob done. That will free up Lee to spend more time working with Bortles in the passing game. The former Trojan has done what is expected of him in OTAs and his value is on the rise. For those owners in deeper leagues with a strong group of receivers, Lee is a late-round option that could easily turn a profit in 2017 if the Jags' offense takes a step forward.

Injury Marqise Lee expected to play
Jags WR listed as questionable
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 5, 7:00 am

Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars WR Marqise Lee, listed as questionable for Sunday with knee injury, will play vs. Bengals, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Lee was limited on Friday but is expected to play and with DeDe Westbrook not activated the Jags will roll with their usual wide receiving corps of Lee, Allen Hurns and Keelan Cole. Lee is still looking for his first touchdown on the season.

Injury No DeDe Westbrook in Week 9
Rookie receiver will have to wait another week for his debut
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Nov 4, 6:00 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
No roster moves for #Jaguars today so rookie WR Dede Westbrook won't debut tomorrow vs. Bengals. (Ryan O'Halloran on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Westbrook is coming off hernia surgery but will have to wait another week for his debut. Allen Hurns, Marqise Lee (knee) and Keelan Cole will be the top three wide receiver for Blake Bortles. None are appealing options in the Jaguars run-heavy scheme.

Injury Fournette misses practice Friday, Questionable
Ankle injury
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 20, 2:15 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars tailback Leonard Fournette missed a third consecutive day of practice Friday with a right ankle injury and is listed as questionable to play Sunday at Indianapolis. Also questionable are receiver Marqise Lee (knee) and free safety Tashaun Gipson (neck). Both did limited practice work on Friday. (Florida Times Union)

FFToday's Take: Fournette injured his ankle last week but has maintained all week that he will play Sunday. We shall see. If Fournette misses, Chris Ivory would likely get the start with T.J. Yeldon filling a backup role.

Injury Fournette, Lee missing practice for Jags
Team hopes to have its rookie tailback available vs. Colts
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Oct 18, 12:41 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
Leonard Fournette appears to have escaped serious injury after his leg planted in scary fashion in the Jacksonville Jaguars' loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, but the rookie tailback will likely sit out Wednesday's practice nonetheless. The Jaguars running back, along with receiver Marqise Lee (knee) and center Brandon Linder (illness), are all unlikely to work out, Jacksonville team site writer John Oehser reported. (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: Leonard Fournette has emerged as a legitimate RB1 in his rookie campaign. IT doesn't appear that the youngster will miss much time but he could be a game-time decision so plan accordingly. Consequently, Chris Ivory is a must own this week with a good chance to see double-digit touches even if Fournette plays. Marqise Lee's status is up in the air with a knee injury. The Jags wideout would be a flex candidate in a favorable matchup so check back later in the week for an update on his condition.

Injury Marqise Lee expected to play
Rib injury
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Oct 8, 8:00 am

Jacksonville Jaguars
Listed as questionable due to a rib injury, Jaguars WR Marqise Lee is slated to play Sunday vs. the Steelers, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Lee missed practice Wednesday and Thursday but was limited Friday. He will start along side Allen Hurns in a matchup against the Steelers. Both can be considered as WR4s.

Injury Marqise Lee misses practice Thursday
Rib injury
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Oct 5, 10:45 am

Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars say WR Marqise Lee (ribs) an C Brandon Linder (illness) expected to miss their second consecutive practice. Everyone else expected to practice on Thursday. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Lee missed practice Wednesday as well, suggesting he may sit out Week 5 against the Steelers. If he does miss, rookie Keelan Cole could see more snaps in two receiver sets along side Allen Hurns. Hurns would be the only viable receiving option in this run-heavy offense.

Injury Jaguars reeling after loss of Allen Robinson
Coach expects other WRs to step up
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Sep 12, 10:35 am

Jacksonville Jaguars
Losing former Pro Bowl wide receiver Allen Robinson to a torn ACL was tough for Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone. While the Jaguars have plenty of depth, Robinson is easily the most complete receiver on the roster. Now the Jaguars will have to rely on speedster Marqise Lee and possession receiver Allen Hurns moving forward. "Well, obviously we have confidence in Marqise and Allen to step up," Marrone said. (First Coast News)

FFToday's Take: Both Lee and Hurns make solid waiver wire pickups this week, though we're wary of placing too much faith in Jacksonville QB Blake Bortles. Temper your expectations, and don;t expect anything more than inconsistent WR3 numbers out of either, as this offense appears to be running through rookie RB Leonard Fournette.

Injury Allen Robinson suffers torn ACL
Out for the year
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Sep 10, 8:31 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars make it official: WR Allen Robinson has torn his ACL. He's out for the season. Awful. In a contract year, too. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Keenan Allen almost made it to halftime last season. This year, Robinson made it 3 plays before tearing his ACL. It's a brutal loss for the Jaguars who will be without their best receiver who will miss the remainder of the season. Allen Hurns had been pushed inside to the slot position but he could be asked to step back outside, starting opposite Marqise Lee.

Allen Hurns working in the slot
Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee starting outside
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Sep 7, 8:00 am

Jacksonville Jaguars
Although several signs have pointed to a demotion, Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns still has a prominent role in the Jacksonville offense. Hurns lined up as a slot receiver for the majority of the offseason and has continued to play that role in practice this week. (First Coast News)

FFToday's Take: Hurns confirmed the slot is his "permanent" position meaning he likely won't be on the field in two wide receiver sets. Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee will be starting the outside receivers.
