| Chris Thompson a no-go for Week 10|
Fourth absence in the last five games
By: Doug Orth | Fri Nov 9, 1:20 am
|Redskins RB Chris Thompson has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. This isn't a surprise given his rib issues and has missed three of the last four games. Kapri Bibbs will continue in the third down role. (ESPN - John Keim)|
FFToday's Take: The change-of-pace/passing-down back role in Washington has taken on added importance recently, as the Redskins' offensive line has been decimated by injury. While Adrian Peterson has shown the ability to catch the ball this season, Thompson's continued absence means Kapri Bibbs should be in line for at least five to eight touches and potentially more against the high-scoring Buccaneers. Given the likely game script, Bibbs could be a high-end flex option this week.

|Redskins’ RB Chris Thompson, listed as questionable for Sunday due to rib and knee injuries, is not expected to play vs. Cowboys, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Thompson was on the practice field this week but will be inactive. In his absence, Kapri Bibbs will handle backup running back duties behind Adrian Peterson. Bibbs is a desperation Flex play in PPR leagues.
| Redskins down Chris Thompson and Crowder|
Redskins thin at the skill positions
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Oct 14, 1:10 am
|Redskins’ WR Jamison Crowder, listed as questionable for Sunday with an ankle injury, is not expected to play vs. the Panthers. So the Redskins expect to be down Chris Thompson and Crowder. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Redskins are banged up at the offensive skill positions with Adrian Peterson (ribs), Paul Richardson and Josh Doctson all questionable. Kapri Bibbs could see some work in the running game and extra targets could be coming Jordan Reed's way in the passing game.
| Washington RBs injured on bad throws|
Alex Smith's "hospitals balls" claim Chris Thompson, Adrian Peter
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Oct 9, 8:09 am
|Two Washington running backs left Monday night’s 43-19 loss to the New Orleans Saints -- Chris Thompson and Adrian Peterson. Both injuries were the result of poor throws buy Alex Smith, who left the pass catchers vulnerable to big hits from defenders.
Peterson suffered a dislocated shoulder in the first half and did not have a second half carry, finishing with six yards on four rushing attempts. He is scheduled to have an MRI on Tuesday.
Chris Thompson was also shaken up, suffering a rib injury on an attempted two-point conversion in the fourth quarter. He finished with a team-high six receptions for 45 yards and added eight rushes for 17 yards. (Washington Post)|
FFToday's Take: Kapri Bibbs filled in down the stretch and would assume a bugger workload were either back miss Week 6. Samaje Perine could also be activated.
