| Todd Gurley set to make NFL debut|
Rookie RB split reps with Mason at practice

|The Rams plan for rookie RB Todd Gurley (ACL) to make his debut today against the Steelers. Heíll work out pregame just to be sure. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Gurley and Tre Mason split first team reps at practice this week and it's likely we'll see the same on the field today with Benny Cunningham playing a third-down role. The Rams rank 27th in rushing yardage through two games.
| Rams: Gurley will play "when he's ready"|
Fisher says run-game struggles will not accelerate rookie's timetable
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Sep 22, 9:25 am
|Asked if the teamís run-game struggles and lackluster performances from RBs Benny Cunningham and Tre Mason would make it more tempting to bring Todd Gurley into the fold faster, Jeff Fisher emphatically answered "No."
ďToddís going to play when heís ready to play," Fisher added. "Itís a non-factor. Iíve been saying this since he got here: When heís ready, heís going to play, regardless of whatís happening around him. But he is getting closer." (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)|
FFToday's Take: We really wish he was lying. Gurley, the 10th selection in last springís draft, was listed as questionable heading into Sundayís game (a 24-10 loss to Washington) then was declared inactive for the second time in as many NFL games. He has been a full participant in practice recently after undergoing season-ending ACL surgery on his left knee last November while competing for the University of Georgia. He offers RB1 upside if given a full workload.
| RB Tre Mason expected to play|
Gurley not yet ruled out

|Despite being listed as questionable, Rams RB Tre Mason is expected to play today. Todd Gurley still in question. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Mason (hamstring) did practice this week and should play in Week against the Redskins. It's likely Mason will share carries with Benny Cunningham so temper your fantasy expectations.
| Tre Mason looking iffy for Rams|
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Sep 13, 8:30 am
|Not a lot of optimism that Tre Mason will be able to play today vs. Seattle, in which case Bennie Cunningham would start at RB for Rams. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It's looking like Benny Cunningham will get the start for the Rams in a less than ideal matchup against the Seahawks. Isaiah Pead would see action as well. Mason has been bothered by a hamstring injury since August.
| Tre Mason misses practice Friday|
Will be listed as Questionable
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Sep 11, 1:38 pm
|Rams coach Jeff Fisher says RB Todd Gurley (knee) will be officially listed as out. RB Tre Mason did not practice and will be questionable. (Nick Wagoner on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: With Mason missing practice this week, it's likely he will be inactive leaving Benny Cunningham and Isaiah Pead (yes he's still in the league) the likely runners for the Rams on Sunday. A matchup against the Seahawks defense isn't ideal but Cunningham makes for an interesting DFS play if you're looking to save $ at the RB position.
| Tre Mason still rehabbing hamstring|
Status for Week 1 uncertain
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Sep 8, 4:34 pm
|During open portion of Rams practice, RB Tre Mason did not participate. He worked on side with training staff as he rehabs hamstring (Nick Wagoner on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Mason will likely be labeled a gametime by the coaches this week. He has a chance to be the lead running back early in the season with Todd Gurley being eased along in his ACL recovery. If Mason is unable to play against the Seattle, Benny Cunningham would likely get the start.
