| Jameis Winston returns to practice |
Aims to start against Packers

|QB Jameis Winston will practice today and is expected to take all of the first team reps. Barring a setback he will start Sun. At GB. (Rick Stroud via Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Bucs have had a season to forget but Jameis Winston's return should be viewed as a positive for fantasy owners. After seeing their fantasy stock depressed with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center, Tampa Bay's pass catchers should see a nice bump in fantasy potential against the Packers this week.
| Jameis Winston to miss Week 12|
Still not cleared to throw
By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 20, 6:05 pm
|Bucs HC Dirk Koetter says the medical staff re-evaluated Jameis Winston (shoulder) and he is not cleared to throw. Will be out this week at least. (Tampa Bay Times - Rick Stroud)|
FFToday's Take: The fact Winston has been ruled out so early this week makes a Week 13 return unlikely as well. Owners should not expect to be able to use him until Week 14 at the earliest. Ryan Fitzpatrick will continue to lead the offense in the meantime.

Bucs coach plans on QB's return from shoulder injury this season
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Nov 14, 10:52 am
|The Bucs want quarterback Jameis Winston to rest his injured shoulder at least through Sunday's game against the Dolphins and general manager Jason Licht has said it could be an extended period before he is under center.
But Winston is expected to play again this season, and when asked Monday if he believed Winston would play again in 2017, coach Dirk Koetter said "I do." (Tampa Bay Times)|
FFToday's Take: It's good news for Winston owners who may be counting on a return for the fantasy playoffs, but in most formats and situations, it's best to cut bait with Winston, who hasn't been effective since sustaining the injury.
|Mike Evans suspended one game|
Cheap shot on Marshon Lattimore
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 6, 4:13 pm
|Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans was suspended one game on Monday for violating the NFL's policy on unsportsmanlike conduct and unnecessary roughness.
Evans hit New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore in the back Sunday during a confrontation started by Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston in Tampa Bay's 30-10 loss (USA Today)|
FFToday's Take: Evans blasted Lattimore from behind after Lattimore and Evans will having a "conversation". Evans should have been kicked out of the game but instead, he will miss a Week 10 matchup with the Jets. Cameron Brate and DeSean Jackson should receive more looks with Evans out. Expect Evans to appeal.
| Winston will miss two weeks with shoulder injury|
Ryan Fitzpatrick will start Week 10
By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 6, 1:00 pm
|The Bucs have decided Jameis Winston needs a couple weeks off to rest his injured shoulder.
The Bucs quarterback, who has failed to finish two of the past four games following a sprained AC joint in his right throwing shoulder at Arizona Oct. 15, will be shut down for at least two weeks following an MRI he received Monday. (Tampa Bay Times)|
FFToday's Take: Winston has been battling a shoulder injury for a few weeks and his performance has suffered with a completion percentage of 54 percent the last two weeks. Ryan Fitzpatrick took over in the 2nd half yesterday and will start Week 10 against the Jets.
| Jameis Winston will start against Buffalo|
Bucs QBs practices Friday

|Jameis Winston is will start on Sunday against Buffalo. (Buccaneers on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Winston was able to practice Friday and apparently looked good enough to get the start in Week 7. Winston's shoulder injury will make him a risky play for fantasy owners but he's a better option than turnover machine Ryan Fitzpatrick.
| Winston does very little on Thursday|
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Oct 19, 1:45 pm
|Bucs' Jameis Winston didn't look today like a quarterback expecting to play on Sunday. Could test shoulder more Friday, but seems unlikely. (Greg Auman on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Earlier in the week, the coaching staff noted that Winston likely wouldn't throw until late in the week. We should get a better indication of Winston's availability on Friday but Winston owners should have plan B in place. Ryan Fitzpatrick would start against the Bills if Winston sits.
| Jameis Winston: No throws until later in week|
Bucs QB dealing with sprained AC joint in shoulder
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Oct 17, 10:38 am
|Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has officially been diagnosed with a sprained AC joint in the shoulder of his throwing arm, according to coach Dirk Koetter. There is no structural damage, and he'll be day-to-day. He's not expected to make any throws until later in the week, which puts his Week 7 status in serious jeopardy. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: It looks like we'll probably have Ryan Fitzpatrick starting for the Bucs in Week 7, though the day-to-day designation does leave the door open for Winston returning to action on Sunday. Stay tuned.

Sprained AC joint in throwing (right) shoulder

FFToday's Take: Despite HC Dirk Koetter's optimism with the "day-to-day" designation, owners should begin looking for other options, at least as far as Week 7 is concerned. It is being reported Koetter will check the velocity on Winston's throws later in the week before making any firm decisions about his playing status. Ryan Fitzpatrick is Winston's direct backup and has the most upside of the likely options available on waivers, even if he is as unpredictable as they come.
|DeSean Jackson off to slow start |
Only nine receptions through three games
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Oct 4, 8:00 am
|Three games into his Tampa Bay Buccaneers career, DeSean Jackson has just nine catches. DeSean being DeSean, those nine catches have gained 143 yards, but he hasn't had quite the impact he and the Bucs might have hoped when they arranged this marriage back in March. He's averaging career-lows in both catch rate and receiving yards per game, after all.
"I think I've just got to get on track with him," Winston said, per the team's official website. "I have to play better in all respects. He's been doing what he does - he's been open a lot."
FFToday's Take: The Bucs passing attack suddenly has more depth than recent memory. It's not a surprise to see Jameis Winston favor Mike Evans but he has had more success finding Adam Humphries (14 receptions on 20 targets) than Desean Jackson (9 receptions on 20 targets). Until Winston gains more confidence throwing the deep ball, Jackson's owners will struggle with inconsistent fantasy production.
