2018 Outlook
Depth Chart
Fuller was seemingly the primary beneficiary of Watson's rise to prominence last season. Weeks 4 through 8 may be the career apex for him when he averaged 17.7 fantasy points per game. But with Watson's injury went Fuller's fantasy value. Following Week 8, Fuller failed to score over 5 fantasy points during any week.

While Fuller gave a mid-season boost to fantasy owners, he became an immediate cut candidate after the QB transition. His 7 touchdowns in four weeks is an obvious regression candidate even with the return of Watson. Fuller is being drafted as the 24th WR in the late-5th round. At that price, he represents a big risk, but if his connection to Watson continues at its roaring pace, he could be a league-winner. He's price of a borderline WR2/3 is too steep, but as a WR3 or 4, he could be a strong option.

Injury Will Fuller optimistic about playing Week 5
Hamstring injury
By: Doug Orth | Thu Oct 4, 7:15 pm

Houston Texans
Will Fuller V (hamstring): "I feel good, just taking it day by day." (Texans on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: If Fuller is active against Dallas this weekend, he needs to be in most lineups. The problem with hamstring injuries - as we have seen with multiple players already this season - is that he is definitely at risk for another early exit. The other problem is Houston plays Sunday night, so owners will have limited options if he doesn't go. Keke Coutee stands to benefit regardless and should be owned in most leagues.

Injury Will Fuller injures hamstring again
Missed time in preseason and opener with similar injury
By: Doug Orth | Mon Oct 1, 5:55 pm

Houston Texans
Bill O'Brien on Will Fuller, said it wasn't precautionary sitting him. Says he'll see how it goes this week with a hamstring issue. (Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson)

FFToday's Take: Fuller simply cannot seem to stay healthy, as he has struggled to remain on the field in any of his first three seasons. Although if Week 4 was any indication, the Texans may have a viable alternative in rookie Keke Coutee. Owners should expect Fuller to miss Week 5 at the very least. Regardless of how long the speedster misses, Coutee should be a serviceable WR3. And even after Fuller returns, Coutee should be rostered in most leagues.

Injury Will Fuller expected to play in Week 2

Houston Texans
Texans’ HC Bill O’Brien told reporters that he’s confident Will Fuller V will play Sunday vs. Titans. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Fuller missed Week 1 with a hamstring injury which allowed Bruce Ellington to 88 percent of the teams snaps. The matchup for Fuller looks promising against the Titans which allowed Miami to average 8.2 yards per pass attempt last week. Fuller can be used as a WR3 or Flex on Sunday.

Injury Will Fuller not expected to play
Hamstring injury

Houston Texans
Texans’ WR Will Fuller, listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury, is unlikely to play today vs. Patriots, but he wants to test it pregame first before making final decision, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Fuller was limited in practice this week and his expected absence creates a deep threat void in the Texans offense. Bruce Ellington should see an increase in snaps and targets opposite DeAndre Hopkins along with TE Ryan Griffin.

Injury Will Fuller limited with hamstring injury
Questionable for Week 1
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Sep 7, 2:15 pm

Houston Texans
Texans coach Bill O'Brien was noncommittal on the status of starting wide receiver Will Fuller heading into the season-opener Sunday against the New England Patriots. Fuller has been limited all week with a strained hamstring he sustained during the preseason. and is listed as questionable on the injury report. "We'll see," O'Brien said. "We'll see how the next couple days go." (Houston Chronicle)

FFToday's Take: The Patriots have limited DeAndre Hopkins in their last four meetings (7-76-0, 6-65-0, 4-56-0, 3-52-0) which makes Fuller an interesting option in Week 1 if he's able to get on the field. If he's unable to play, Bruce Ellington could be a sneaky DFS play.

Will Fuller (hamstring) still day-to-day
Texans WR poised for third-year breakout once healthy
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Aug 28, 9:05 am

Houston Texans
Texans starting wide receiver Will Fuller didn't practice Monday as he continues to recover from a strained hamstring. He didn't play in the Texans' preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams after tweaking his leg last week in practice. “Will’s doing good," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said. "It’s day to day." (Houston Chronicle)

FFToday's Take: Fuller is expected to return for the season-opener against the New England Patriots, and makes an excellent mid-round selection with his gamebreaking upside -- he just needs to stay on the field.
